HOKA Hackney Moves Festival
The HOKA Hackney Moves Festival is a multi-day sporting event held at Hackney Marshes in London. Scheduled for May 2027, the weekend features several running distances and a festival focused on fitness and wellbeing. The festival site serves as a central hub with live music, food, and various fitness-related activities.
Participants can choose from a range of distances on road and trail:
- Half Marathon (21.1 km): A road race through the heart of the borough on closed roads.
- 10 km Night Run: A sunset race on closed roads followed by an after-party.
- 5 km Trail: An off-road event introduced to the festival lineup.
- 5 km: A community-focused road run for all abilities, including walkers.
- Schools Challenge: A specific event for local children to experience a race day.
The 21.1 km half marathon is the primary event and takes place on Sunday. Due to high demand, the organizers implement a pre-registration system for general entries, though participants can also gain entry by running for a charity partner. The weekend includes a two-day festival on Saturday and Sunday at Hackney Marshes that is free to attend for the public. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
