Wicked Rogaines Winter Series 2026
Wicked Rogaines Winter Series runs across six weekly events in June to August 2026: 17 June, 24 June, 1 July, 5 August, 12 August and 19 August. Each event is staged at a named local reserve or domain, including Clock Tower Scarborough (Sumner), Hansen Park (Opawa), McCormacks Bay Reserve (Mt Pleasant), South Brighton Domain, Sedgwick Reserve (Westmorland) and Ferrymead Park.
The series offers two participation options. The Wednesday Wicked Rogaines are in-person evening events with physical WR electronic controls, official WR scoring and points that count toward the Wicked League; these events include prize draws and opportunities to meet other participants. The Virtual Rogaines provide the same navigation challenge without physical controls: courses are released weekly, available from Thursday afternoon for a week, and can be completed individually or as a team using the MapRunF phone app. Virtual results are unofficial and do not contribute league points, but may include track history and entry in prize draws.
Rogaines are typically timed events where teams of two to five visit checkpoints for points; a one-hour option and family events are offered, and solo entries are possible for shorter formats. Wicked Kids Fun Event is a one-hour course for young children under seven, with easier controls and mandatory adult accompaniment. Recommended safety gear includes a fully charged mobile phone, polypro top, warm hat, gloves, rain jacket, whistle and headlamp with spare battery.
