Whites 100 : Shelburne, NH

Whites 100 is a noncompetitive trail event in Shelburne, New Hampshire. It is organized as a "fat ass"-style event with no entry fee, no formal aid stations, and no awards. The event provides logistical support to help trail runners complete the route by offering access to five drop bags and organized transportation between those locations and back to participants' vehicles.

Participants must carry a Garmin inReach device to use the drop stations and the provided transport. An online tracker will be available for the event. Organizers require a refundable $200 bin deposit; the deposit will be returned when a participant starts the event, minus the cost of a 17-gallon bin. If a participant does not start, the bin fee will be donated to a local trail organization.

Starts are scheduled on a Friday and participants may stagger start times to keep group sizes below ten. A hard support cutoff is set at 54 hours from the start. Weather may affect the event; in the case of cancellation, organizers plan to provide reimbursement in the form of a gift card valid for a future event or for use at the organizer's shop. Additional details will be published closer to the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
