About the race

Whistler Turkey Trot is a trail running event held in Lost Lake Park in Whistler, British Columbia on October 11, 2026. The event is presented by SEA2SKY Events and was originally conceived by the Whistler Friends Society. It raises funds for Crohn's and Colitis Canada and the Whistler Food Bank; the listed fundraising goal is CA$2,000 and funds raised to date are CA$1,105.50.

The event offers the following distances:

  • 10 km

The course is a measured trail route with a surface mix of gravel and single track on the 10 km. There is no chip timing; a finish clock is provided. The 10 km course includes an on-route water station. Registered participants receive a run bib, a $5 donation to Crohn's and Colitis Canada as part of registration, a finishers medal, and post-run snacks and hot drinks. Bag check is available at participants own risk.

Entries are non-refundable. A transfer option is available until seven days before the event. Discounts are automatically applied for youth under 18 (CA$15 off) and groups of six or more (10 percent off). Strollers that are suitable for light trail use and leashed dogs are permitted only in the 5 km distance. Bib pickup is available at Mt. Waddington Outdoors in Whistler Village and onsite at Lost Lake Passive Haus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
