About the race
The Whistler Turkey Trot is an annual community running event held in Lost Lake Park, Whistler, BC, on October 11, 2026. The event offers trail-based distances and runs on a measured course through local park trails and single track.
Available distances:
- 5 km route suitable for trail and light-path running
- 10 km route that includes single track sections
Registration includes a run bib, a measured course, a finishers medal, a finish clock (no chip timing or official race results), a $5 donation to Crohn's and Colitis Canada, and post-run snacks and hot drinks. The 10 km route has an on-route water station. The course surface is a mix of gravel trail with single track on the 10 km.
Discounts are applied automatically for participants under 18 and for groups of six or more. Entries are non-refundable; a transfer option is available until seven days before the event. Bag check is available at participants' own risk. Strollers and dogs are permitted only in the 5 km distance and dogs must be leashed. Bib pickup is available the day before at Mt. Waddington Outdoors in Whistler Village and onsite at the Lost Lake Passive Haus on race day.
