About the race
Wetherby 10K takes place on Sunday 19 September 2027 in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The event is organised by Wetherby Runners AC and has Race HQ at Wetherby Racecourse (LS22 5EJ) with a large on-site car park.
The main race is a 10 kilometres multi terrain course described as flat and run over a single lap. The event has an entry limit of 750 and is not suitable for wheelchair athletes. Chip timing is provided by Racebest and finishers receive a commemorative large mug. A digital race pack will be emailed to participants approximately two weeks before the event and race numbers are collected on the day.
Facilities include water stations, distance markers, portaloo toilets stocked with sanitary products, hot and cold refreshments, an ice cream van and picnic space. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Medical cover is provided by Julian Hall Medics. Results are posted on the organiser’s website within 48 hours.
Entry fees are shown as £20 for affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners; on the day entry is available for an additional charge if the race has not sold out. Transfer of entries is permitted up to two weeks before the race.
Rules and restrictions include a minimum age of 15 for 10k competitors, no dogs or cyclists, and restrictions on earphones except when approved for medical reasons.
