Westview Orchards Haunted Wine Run 5K
The Westview Orchards Haunted Wine Run 5K is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at Westview Orchards & Winery in Washington, Michigan on October 25, 2026. The route runs on dirt and gravel roads through the orchards and includes some areas of uneven footing, making it suitable for both runners and walkers.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Results are posted online and each qualifying participant receives a pour of wine at the finish area. The event typically draws over 1,000 participants; faster runners are asked to start near the front and walkers near the back to reduce congestion.
Age group awards are offered for the top three finishers in each category. Categories are grouped by decade: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over. To be eligible for age awards, competitive runners must start with the first wave; awards are available only on the day of the event and may be picked up at the registration table after results are posted.
The charity partner for the event is Nik’s Wish. Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib but not a wine glass or pour. Strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers can participate for free without registration. Dogs are not allowed on site due to USDA rules.
