Westminster Trail Race
The Westminster Trail Race takes place on the trails around Standley Lake in Westminster, Colorado. Routes run on packed dirt trails, single-track and some bike path sections. Multiple distances are offered and each course is described with terrain type, elevation gain and aid station placement.
- 50K: loop; 100% dirt; 1712 ft elevation; 3 aid stations.
- 36K: loop; 100% dirt; 1163 ft elevation; 2 aid stations.
- 18K: loop; 100% dirt; 583 ft elevation; 2 aid stations.
- 12K: out and back; 100% dirt; 464 ft elevation; 2 aid stations.
- 6K: lollipop; 100% dirt; 287 ft elevation; 1 aid station.
The start and finish are located at Wayne Carle Middle School near Standley Lake, with ample parking at the school. Drop bags are allowed at the start/finish or finish area depending on the distance. Crews may view runners from the start/finish area for several distances; pacers are not allowed for any distance. Each distance has a published time limit and specific aid station cutoffs.
