Warrior Way 5K
The Warrior Way 5K is a trail run hosted by George Whittell High School's Student Council at George Whittell High School, 240 Warrior Way, Zephyr Cove, NV 89448, on September 27, 2026. The event supports student fundraising and lists the Whittell Boosters Club, Inc. among its community supporters.
The course runs through wooded terrain and crosses creeks and logs, with natural features such as trees and rocks along the route. The organizer notes wildlife presence along the trail, including squirrels. The event is held regardless of weather and the listing states no refunds; snow shoes are welcome if there is early snow. Day of registration, packet pickup, a pre race briefing, and awards are part of the schedule.

A post race drawing offers Sierra Ski tickets; winners must be present to claim prizes. Sponsorship opportunities include a sponsor tent with proceeds earmarked for the student class fundraiser.
