Waldo 100K
The Waldo 100K is an ultramarathon held near Oakridge, Oregon, on a loop course that begins and ends at Willamette Pass Ski Area. The ski area sits at elevation 5120 feet and the route climbs multiple peaks, including Fuji, The Twins, and Maiden Peak, before returning to the start.
The course is mostly single track trail with some fairly remote sections. Runners pass multiple viewpoints of Waldo Lake. The route covers the full 100K distance and follows trails typical of mountain ultramarathons in the region.
The event uses a lottery system for entry and 2026 lottery results were posted for that year. The organizer participates in the Trail to Zero program through UltraSignup; a cited statistic notes that most of an event's carbon footprint comes from participant travel, and lottery registrants were offered the option to contribute one dollar or more to a carbon offset program to address travel emissions.
