2026 Vancouver First Responders Half Marathon Trail Edition
This event takes place on November 1, 2026 at Sasamat Trail, West 16th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, Canada. It is organised to recognise the role of first responders and to raise funds for related charities.
Distances offered include:
- 21K half marathon
- 10K
- Frontline 5K
Entry packages include a short sleeve cotton running shirt if registered before October 15, a finisher medal, chip timing with live results (subject to minimum participation; manual timing may be used), fully stocked aid stations, post race snacks, and eligibility for draw prizes.
Team entries are available for the 21K and 10K as teams of four. Teams are not relays; all four members run the full distance together. Team results are calculated by averaging the individual times. Individual times are also provided. If one or more team members do not complete the race, remaining members receive individual results only.
Charity options include designated Run for Charity entries that require participants to fundraise a minimum of CA$400 for the selected charity. Fundraising organisations listed for this event include the Canadian Mental Health Association BC Division and Wounded Warriors Canada. To date the event fundraising shows CA$470.30 raised toward a CA$5,000.00 goal.
Registration notes: online registration closes October 31, 2026. Entries are non refundable, non transferable, and non deferrable. Age minimums apply by December 31, 2026: 16 years for the half marathon and 10 years for the 10K. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent and all participants must show photo ID at check in. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
