Riverbender
Riverbender is a community running event at Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park in Burnaby, British Columbia, held on December 12, 2026. The event offers 5 KM and 10 KM route options that follow the bend of the Fraser River through Foreshore Park.
The course is described as flat and fast, using uninterrupted bike paths and wide gravel trails. Runners can expect river views and winter wildlife along the route, including observable eagle nests.

Registration includes a unique finishers medal, a beer voucher redeemable at Steel & Oak Brewing Co., professional timing with bib and chip, and a well marked, accurately measured course. The event supports KidSport New West; donations can be made during registration.
Registration policies state there are no refunds and no deferrals. Transfers are possible through the Race Roster platform but bibs cannot be used by someone with a different name. There is no waitlist. Full refunds are available only to participants who purchased optional refund insurance during registration. In the event of event cancellation for reasons such as weather or other circumstances, the organizers will provide a discount toward next year’s event.
