Unpaved Night #3 | 10KM Urban Trail After Work

This event is a midweek night trail run that meets at Waterloo Station and travels by train to Wimbledon to begin the route, finishing in Richmond. The advertised route is a fast and flowing 9.4 km urban trail that passes through Wimbledon, Richmond Park and other green corridors in South West London.

The course uses woodland paths, parkland singletrack and hidden green spaces, with minimal elevation gain of about 90 m. The event is described as a social night run with a conversational pace kept for the whole group, including occasional photo stops at sunset viewpoints. The listed duration is approximately 3 hours and the atmosphere is intended to be communal rather than competitive.

Participants are asked to bring practical kit for a night trail: a headtorch with fresh batteries, 500 ml–1 L of water, light snacks or energy gel, a light windproof layer, reflective elements or hi-vis for road crossings, a fully charged mobile phone, and the route downloaded on phone or watch.

Meeting at Waterloo Station and travelling together to the start point are part of the event flow. The route and setting emphasize urban trail running through city parks and green spaces after the working day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
