UltraTrax East Tennessee at Windrock Park
UltraTrax East Tennessee is a timed endurance trek held on May 22, 2027 at Windrock Park in Oliver Springs, TN. The event uses a single 7-mile loop and offers four distance options within a 10 hour completion window.
The course crosses gravel roads and dirt trails through forested hills and open mountain views on Windrock’s trail system. Early miles include a long descent followed by a sustained climb, then a gradual rise before the final push to the finish. The route will be clearly marked and supported by well-stocked aid stations and event staff.

- 7 Miles Level 1
- 14 Miles Level 2
- 21 Miles Level 3
- 28 Miles Level 4
The start line is divided into corrals based on distance and departures are staged by distance. Participants may receive their bib by mail in advance or pick it up on event morning; participants who register after April 25, 2027 must pick up bibs in person. Those in weighted divisions must bring their own ruck, backpack, or weighted vest; packs are weighed before the start and everything in the pack counts toward required weight except perishable food and drinks.
Finishers receive a custom UltraTrax finisher medal (Grey Wolf for 28 and 21 mile entries, Trail Wolf for 14 and 7 mile entries), an event T-shirt, and a patch. Onsite parking is available near Windrock Park trailhead and General Store. A portion of proceeds supports outdoor space protection and preservation efforts.
