Ultra:5K 2027
Ultra:5K 2027 is a running event held on 11 July 2027 at Box End Park, Kempston near Bedford. The event in its 11th year uses a lap format that combines multiple 5 km circuits on an off-road course with hills, flats, twists and turns.
There are three individual race formats:
- Individual ULTRA:5K x10: 10 consecutive 5 km laps
- Individual ULTRA:5K x5: 5 consecutive 5 km laps
- Individual ULTRA:5K x3: 3 consecutive 5 km laps
Entries include access to sports massage between laps, a selection of sweet and savoury snacks, energy gels and bars, and energy drinks. All finishers receive a bespoke ULTRA:5K medal. Winners are determined by the fastest cumulative time in each race format. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall and the top three female in each category, and personalised certificates for the top three in age groups are issued by email after the event.
Entrants must be 17 years of age or older on race day. Merchandise such as tech t-shirts, cotton t-shirts, hoodies and caps is available to purchase; prices for these items are listed with the event.
