About the race
Twenty Three Ranch Last Man Standing is an endurance running event at 23 Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas, held on January 22, 2027. Registration is officially live and tickets went live January 22, 2027. The event is limited to 111 runners and a waitlist will be available if registration fills.
The race has no predetermined finish line or set distance. Each hour, runners start a loop of 4.1 miles. To continue, a runner must complete the loop before the hour ends and be present at the next starting line. Runners who miss the hourly cutoff or do not make the next start are eliminated. The event continues until only one runner remains.
Entry fee is $300. The grand prize is $20,000 with a winner-takes-all payout; there is no second-place payout. The organizer notes that a select number of waitlisted runners may be admitted if spots open. The event materials describe the format as mentally and physically demanding and emphasize endurance rather than a single set distance.
