True to the Brew Trail 10K Run/Hike
The event is the 10th Annual True to the Brew 10K Hike and Run on April 3, 2027, held on the Peak to Prosperity Passage of the Palmetto Trail in Pomaria, South Carolina (Alston Road, 29126). The field will be capped at 300 participants. Proceeds benefit the Palmetto Conservation Foundation and its work to support the Palmetto Trail and related recreational opportunities.
Registration opens 8/11/2026 at 07:00 and closes 9/30/2026 at 23:59. The registration fee is $50.00. To be guaranteed a race shirt a participant must be registered by March 3, 2027. Extra shirts may be ordered but are not guaranteed after that date. Shirts will not be held or shipped after the event.
New in 2027: participants can park near the finish at Alston Trail Head; shuttles will transport people to the start line in Pomaria. The finish is on the Broad River Trestle at Alston Trail Head and will include live music, professional photography, breakfast served from the grill, and a complimentary beer for bibbed participants.
Event policies: the event is rain or shine; dogs are permitted on leashes; strollers are not allowed. The event is non refundable. No deferrals are allowed after 2/15 and no bib exchanges after 3/15. Participants who arrive after the start will not be permitted on the course. Only bibbed participants are allowed on the course and eligible for finish line amenities.
