Trot in the Trees 5K Trail Race and Fun Run
The event at Tibbetts Field in Madbury, New Hampshire features multiple running options on natural trails that pass through Powder Major Forest. The trail course includes a roughly two mile loop, varied natural terrain, exposed roots, mud, fallen leaves and a hay bale obstacle. A one mile fun run provides a shorter trail experience for younger participants.

- ORYA Cross Country 3.1 Miles
Registration and fees are specified by event. Early bird and regular registration periods apply for the 5K with stepped fees, and the fun run has a lower entry fee with a higher fee on the day of the event. ORYA Cross Country is restricted to program participants and has no fee listed here. Race shirts are provided to 5K registrants who register by 2026-09-06.
Organizing partners include the Oyster River Youth Association, Durham Parks & Recreation and Madbury Recreation Commission. A portion of event proceeds will support youth recreation scholarships for Oyster River community members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
