Triquest Trail Run Series - Okemo
The event is based at Okemo's Jackson Gore area and sends runners to the top of Okemo Mountain and back via a mix of dirt roads and single-track hiking trails. The course crosses private land and sections of the Okemo State Forest and is subject to change.
Distances offered include:
- 7.6 miles, 2500 vertical feet
- Under 1 mile, family fun run with age categories
All registrations include an event T shirt, a barbecue style lunch served by Okemo culinary staff, and a custom Triquest finisher medal. There are age-specific entries, including youth categories and a free entry option for age 5 and under.
Event logistics include early bib pickup and late registration before race day, race day bib pickup and a pre-race gathering, followed by post-race lunch and live music. Aid stations are available to refill bottles, but participants are encouraged to carry personal water and food.
Participants must respect private property near the trails, avoid littering, and follow leave-no-trace principles. The course can be steep, rocky, grassy, wet and slippery; precise course marking must be followed for safety. If an injured competitor is encountered, inform the nearest course marshal, EMT or rescue service.
Awards are given to 1st through 3rd overall women and men for both the mountain and fun runs. Additional recognitions include a Queen and King of the Mountain via Strava for the Bear Climb, best running outfit, best family or group outfit, and the middle finisher honors.
