Ragnar Trail Vermont
Ragnar Trail Vermont is a multi day trail relay held at Ascutney Outdoor Center in Brownsville, VT. The event uses a network of single track and switchback trails that pass rolling hills, farm fields and riverside woods. The full course totals 118 miles, with about 15 miles per runner and approximately 758 feet of elevation gain per loop. Trail descriptions note smooth, flowy single track, technical sections and scenic field and river views.
Teams race over two days and one night with several team formats and published prices: Standard teams of eight runners, Ultra teams of four runners, and a Black Loop option for two runners. Ragnar Village serves as the event base and camping area; options include traditional camping, glamping and Rent-a-Tent. Village amenities listed for the weekend include a bonfire, music, yoga, prizes, food trucks and Ben & Jerry’s, plus an option to book a nearby hotel for an additional fee.
