Trifarm Winter 10k Trail Run - 27 December 2026
The event is the final round of a four-event seasonal trail run series held on 27 December 2026 at Trifarm, Church Road, Boreham, Chelmsford, Essex. The race is a 10 km trail run with over 95% off road on public footpaths and bridleways. TRA permit number 6807 is listed as pending confirmation. Non TRA and non UKA members pay a £2 levy.
The winter course is run predominantly clockwise and is routed away from the river to avoid floods. Race start and finish are located at the far end of the Trifarm car park. Registration is held in or near the car park and there is plenty of parking on site. Bottled water is available at registration and there is a tap by the bicycle racks for topping up bottles before the run and at the finish.
Participants must wear their race number on the front, unfolded; manual timing may be used so numbers must be visible to record a time. There are no water stations or marshals on course, but a tail jogger will sweep the route and a finish line timer will be used. Food is available for purchase on site, including bacon rolls, tea, coffee and cakes. Pre-run swim and post-run sauna are available by booking via the Trifarm website.
Results will be posted to the event website after collation. Additional prizes are planned for the fastest male and female athletes at the end of round 4; points use a MotoGP race system. Recorded course times are 00:50:10 for the fastest women's time (2025) and 00:51:52 for the fastest men's time (2024). Entry prices shown are £11 until 01 Jul 2026 and £12.50 until 19 Dec 2026.
