The event is a 15k trail run held at Trifarm, Church Road, Boreham CM3 3EJ. The course is more than 95% off road, using public footpaths and bridleways, and follows an anticlockwise route that finishes at the edge of the Trifarm lake on the running track near the road entry point.
Parking is available on site. Bottled water is provided at registration and there is a refill point on the 15k course plus a refill tap near the finish along the farm track by the bicycle racking. Race numbers must be worn on the front, unfolded; timing is manual so numbers must be visible at the finish to receive a recorded time. A tail walker or jogger will sweep the course.
Online entry fees differ for non TRA or UKA affiliated members by an additional £2. The 15k route is for over-18s. A discounted pre-run swim ticket option is available for entrants who have completed a prior swim test directly with the venue. A route narrative will be available to download from the organiser’s website the week before the race, and a start list with race number information and arrival registration will be emailed to entrants shortly before the event.
Trophies are awarded after the winter edition for league podium places; league points follow a MotoGP-style format with a bonus point for breaking a course record. Course record times exist for male and female categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
