About the race
Trick or Trail Night Run is a night trail event in Kamloops, BC organized by Sole Pursuit Running. The event offers two distance options and takes place on the trails of Kenna Cartwright.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 15 km
- 5 km (now 6 km)
The run occurs after dark on unlit trails. All runners must wear a headlamp or carry a flashlight at all times for their safety and for the safety of others. The course will feature volunteers positioned on one of the trails whose role is to create jump-scare moments; volunteers will not touch runners, but there will be loud noises, spooky sounds, and people in scary costumes.
The event has a stated cancellation and transfer policy: registrations are nonrefundable; deferrals may be considered at the Race Director's discretion up to two months before race day; bibs are nontransferable; sold-out distances will not be expanded; runners may drop down in distance at no cost until registration closes, but increasing distance after registration is not permitted. If the event is cancelled for reasons such as weather or wildfire, participants may defer to the following year (valid one year) or receive a 50% refund of registration cost less processing fees.
Course maps and further course information are provided by Sole Pursuit Running. Registration closes October 22. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
