Trail of Honor: Cody Myers Memorial Race
The Trail of Honor is a community memorial trail event on October 11, 2026 in the Lock Haven / Mill Hall area of Pennsylvania. The event raises funds for the Cody Myers Legacy Scholarship administered by the Keystone Central Foundation.
Participants choose between two trail course options:
- 8.7 miles, out-and-back, about 334 feet of elevation gain.
- 4.55 miles, about 119 feet of elevation gain.
Both routes follow dirt and trail surfaces and are described as generally runnable rather than highly technical. The long course has a gradual climb toward the middle before a turnaround and return to the finish. The long course includes two stocked aid stations, located near mile 2.25 and mile 4.25, offering water, electrolytes, and light trail snacks. Volunteers will mark the route and provide basic support. The event welcomes runners, hikers, and ruckers and is timed while maintaining a community-first atmosphere.
A post-race community gathering at the Lock Haven VFW includes food, music, raffles, a live auction, and a raffle for a custom wood carving. Admission fees are listed separately for race participants and non-participants. Organizers include family and friends in partnership with the Keystone Central Foundation and the Sons of Italy Lodge #146.
