TRAIL LIFE USA, CAMPFIRE RUN
Trail Life USA, Campfire Run is a community running event held on November 14, 2026, at Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston, Louisiana, at 211 Parish Park Rd. The event takes place at a pavilion on the north side of Hoogland Lake inside the park and includes a timed 5K and a 1K Fun Run.
The 5K is presented as a fundraising race to promote and support the Christian youth organization Trail Life USA, Troop-0316. The race listing includes a registration fee of $25 for the 5K. Registration opens 8/14/2026 and closes 10/14/2026. The 1K Fun Run is offered for families and participants who prefer a shorter distance; the Fun Run and non-timed competitive participants may walk or run for free.
Strollers and wagons are allowed on the course. Water stations will be set up along the route and at the finish area. After the event there will be smores ingredients available for participants and promotional booths geared to a range of ages.
