Heritage Classical Academy 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run : Ruston
Heritage Classical Academy is holding a fundraiser race on February 27, 2027, at The Gospel, 108 Sanctuary Road, Ruston, LA. The event supports the school's planned growth to add second and third grades for the 2027 to 2028 school year; the school currently offers Kindergarten and first grade.
The event offers two distances:
- 1 mile fun run or walk
- 5K running race
The course is cross country style and is primarily grass. Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes February 8, 2027. Registration fees are $30.00 for the 1 mile and $35.00 for the 5K. Registrants who refer five friends are eligible for a $20 refund.
Race packages are available for pickup on Wednesday, February 24 from 11:30 to 1:00 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5200 Hwy 167, Ruston, LA, and the morning of the race at The Gospel from 7:00 to 7:45 AM.
Awards for the 5K include overall male and female and age group awards in these brackets: U10, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
