Tour de PIF NSW - Run
Tour de PIF NSW is a one-day run held at St Ives Showground on Friday 11 September 2026 that raises funds to support young people experiencing homelessness. The event uses bush and fire trails within Ku-ring-gai National Park and St Ives Showground on an uneven gravel surface.
The course is a 5.2 km loop with aid stations located on the route. Runners can choose from three distances and complete multiple laps for the longer options. Organisers note that runners should prepare with fitness training for the 10 km and 15 km distances and be comfortable running on gravel trails. Participants are expected to be largely self-sufficient on course and are advised to carry a mobile phone, water bottles and personal nutrition, appropriate clothing for wet weather, a hat and sunglasses, and sunscreen.
On event day there is an event village with coffee, lunch and activities, plus course support and medical assistance. A shuttle service from Gordon Station is provided. The run shares its trail with the walk course and is presented as part of a broader fundraising program that also includes cycling, walking and a team circuit fitness challenge.
