Tough Mudder Los Angeles at Lake Elsinore Raceway
Tough Mudder Los Angeles takes place on March 20, 2027 at Lake Elsinore Raceway, 20700 Cereal St, Lake Elsinore, CA. The course uses the motor-cross tracks and surrounding scrubland, with winding single-track sections, arid ridges and views toward the lake. Parts of the route include dry, silty terrain that becomes deep mud where water is added.
Event formats on the weekend include:
- 15+ kilometers, 20+ obstacles
- 5–8 kilometers, 12+ obstacles
- Infinity, multiple chip timed laps on the 15K or 5K course
- Spectator pass and group packages for 10 or more
Named obstacles on the course include Funky Monkey (monkey bars over water), Block Ness Monster (rotating heavy blocks) and Mud Mile (a series of deep, rolling mud formations). The Infinity option allows racers to stack additional timed laps and pursue long distance targets such as the 50 mile club.
Participants receive a 2027 finisher medal that uses the Hex System, a finisher shirt, an orange finisher headband, and a complimentary finisher drink. Event logistics include options to prepay parking and bag drop. Volunteer roles are available and include discounted event entry, event swag and complimentary food.
