24HR "The Grind"
24HR "The Grind" is scheduled for January 29, 2027 in Perris, CA, and is organized by Machete Trail Madness. The event offers both an individual 24 hour competition and a team 24 hour option.
The course is based on the Molcajete 1.0 loop of approximately 4 miles that participants repeat as many times as they can within 24 hours. Organizers note a potential alternative course under consideration that would include similar climbing with a longer loop of about 7 miles.
Teams are composed of four runners in any mix of genders. Each team member is assigned a number from 1 to 4 and teams cycle through that order lap after lap without skipping or repeating numbers. One team captain completes registration for all team members.
Awards are given to the top three individual men and women and to the top three teams. The group campground and the start/transition area are at Group Picnic C; drivers should enter from the Morene Valley entrance rather than Ramona Express Way.
