Tinto Hill Race
Tinto Hill Race is organised by Carnethy Hill Running Club and takes place on Tinto Hill on Saturday 31 October 2026. The main senior event is categorised as AS, with a measured distance of 7 km and a total climb of 460 m. Entries open and close on specified dates for the 2026 event.
Competitors must carry the required minimum kit throughout the race. Mandatory items are: waterproof jacket with hood, waterproof overtrousers, hat, gloves, map, compass suitable for navigation, and whistle. Kit checks will be carried out. The minimum age for the senior race is 16. If a competitor retires they must inform the nearest marshal and return their race number to the organiser.
