About the race
The Timberline Marathon is a multi-day trail running event on June 5 to 6, 2027 at Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station in Oregon, ZIP 97037. The program includes on-site trail races and a virtual run.
The courses run on single-track trails and include rustic bridge crossings and sections along the shores of Timothy Lake. Runners will encounter views of Mt Hood from parts of the route.
Distances offered:
- 25.2 Miles marathon
- 14 Miles half marathon
Registration details vary by event. On-site trail event registration opens August 1, 2026 and closes November 16, 2026. Fees for on-site events are $75.00 for the marathon and $65.00 for the half marathon. The virtual run opens July 30, 2026 and closes June 6, 2027 with a fee of $45.00.
There are multiple half marathon start options across the two days, including an early start on the second day. Half marathon entrants must be able to complete the course within 4.5 hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
