The Wolds Farm Loop - 6 Hours
The event is a six hour looped running challenge set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Participants run repeated laps of an approximate 5.45 km loop with about 71 metres of elevation and may complete any number of laps within the time limit. The course includes rolling open fields, farm tracks, short stretches of tarmac, and ancient woodland valleys.
Event administration and practical arrangements noted by the organiser:
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Entry fee recorded as £25.00.
- Limited parking is available in two locations about 200 m and 400 m from the event area.
- Dogs are not allowed due to permit and insurance restrictions.
Aid station and race services:
- A single aid station is located at the start and finish area and offers mainly real food items such as jelly babies, fudge, cake, and cheese straws; gels and supplements are not normally provided.
- Participants may leave labelled personal food at the aid station.
- Runners must bring their own cup or bottle for drinks; organisers do not supply disposable cups or bottles.
- A bag drop area or shelter may be provided but personal belongings are left at the owner’s risk.
- A custom medal and goody bag are awarded to anyone who completes at least one lap.
