Yellow Belly Ultra TABBED IN THE HEAD 2026

Yellow Belly Ultra Events stages a winter endurance event called TABBED IN THE HEAD in the Lincolnshire Wolds at Swinhope near Binbrook, Market Rasen LN8 6BS. The course is 15 mile and runs over winter terrain; the organiser describes it as inspired by military test marches.

Participants choose between two entry options. Loadbearing requires carrying a minimum load plus food and water: at least 30 lbs for men and 25 lbs for women. Clean fatigue requires no additional carried weight. Each option has a strict time cutoff: loadbearing entrants have 4.5 hours to complete the course, while clean fatigue entrants have 4 hours. Participants who do not meet the cutoff are removed from the event.

The minimum age for entry is 18. The published entry fee for each entry option is £35. Registration and fundraising are handled in partnership with JustGiving according to the organiser’s event information.

The event takes place in winter conditions in the Lincolnshire Wolds. The organiser notes rough terrain and cold winds as part of the course environment. The format and requirements reflect an emphasis on endurance and self-sufficiency over a 15 mile winter route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
