The View Trail Race
The View Trail Race is a fall trail running event in North Bend, PA, organized by PA Trail Dogs. The event offers two distance options and uses established mountain trails near 161 Sportsman's Lane.

- 15K
The 25K course is modified to bypass Johnson Run while still using The View, Post Draft, SOB, and Huff Run trails. The 15K follows the 25K route up to the View, then splits at mile 5.5 and returns via the Huff Run Trail. The course covers roughly 15 miles with about 3000 feet of elevation gain and is slightly shorter than the typical Hyner 25K.
Registration opens December 18 and is limited to the first 500 entrants. Registration closes on October 18 at 11:59 PM ET. Published entry fees range from USD 58.50 to 87.50. The event has a strict no refunds, no deferrals, no bib switches, and no bandits policy.
Organizers expect participants to finish within 6.5 hours and note shorter daylight hours in November. The event is intended for runners and hikers prepared for sustained trail climbing and technical singletrack. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
