Summer Ready Run - Ferry Meadows 2027
Summer Ready Run takes place on Sunday 4 July 2027 at Ferry Meadows, Ham Lane, Peterborough PE2 5UU. Ferry Meadows is one of the largest country parks in the region and is situated less than three miles from Peterborough city centre within Nene Park.
The event is offered in two timed options: four hour or six hour. Participants run repeated laps of a 5.3 km circuit through forest areas using gravel footpaths and some grass sections, making it a mixed surface course. There is an aid station located at the Race HQ/Base Camp for each lap. Participants who start a final lap before the official cut off are permitted to complete that lap.
Logistics include chargeable parking at the park, a main toilet block near the start and visible race arch and gazebos close to the parking and registration area. Race registration is beside the toilet block where bibs are collected. A baggage area is available but items are left at the owner’s risk.
The event has a maximum of 300 entrants and a minimum age of 18 years. A bespoke event medal is planned for finishers, with a separate generic finisher medal option available.
