The Scorpion Run
The Scorpion Run is a 10k trail event based at Symonds Yat in the Forest of Dean. The course is described as undulating and follows paths that provide views of the River Wye as it winds through the Wye Valley. The final one kilometre includes a large climb up to the finish.
The route is off road for most of its length but includes long sections of gravel firetracks that are suitable for light trail shoes. The event base is at Symonds Yat Rock Cafe, Coleford GL16 7NZ. Coffee and hot food are available at the log cabin near the start and finish area.
