THE ROC WALES
THE ROC WALES is a multistage endurance race that starts on Abersoch Beach and includes a sea swim, road cycling, a mountain ascent on Snowdon, and a final beach run. The route begins with a 1.5 km sea swim in Abersoch bay, followed by a road bike leg of 49.5 km into the Snowdon massif. Competitors continue on foot via the Watkin Path for a 12 km mountain section that includes approximately 3,330 ft of ascent to the summit and a return descent. After the mountain section the course returns by bike for another 49.5 km and finishes with a 1 km trail run along Abersoch beach.
