The River Tay Way Ultra 2027
The River Tay Way Ultra is a women-centered ultramarathon organised by Wee Run Events. It is scheduled for Saturday 24 July 2027 and is based at Tayside Marina, Kenmore, Aberfeldy, PH15 2HN.
The main event is a 75 km ultramarathon that runs from Loch Tay to Perth and includes roughly 50 km of trail. The event offers both solo entries and a relay option with teams of up to four runners. The route is fully marked and uses checkpoints along the course.
Event logistics include free parking, an event bus to the start, and a checkpoint bag-drop service. Timing and tracking are provided with chip timing, live results, and GPS tracking by KitST. Facilities noted for the event include free period products in each restroom and a dedicated breastfeeding area. Finishers receive a medal, and there are sports massage services and prizes for the top three finishers.
The organiser’s entry policies include options to pay by instalments with an additional fee of 1% plus £0.50 per instalment and a notice that missed payments may result in removal from the event.
