The Ramblers Run
The Ramblers Run is a community driven running event held at Palatine Hills Estate Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake on September 13, 2026. The event takes place among the vineyard rows and offers options for families, runners, and dog owners.
Distances and formats:
- 1.25 km Family Fun Run/Walk, untimed
- 5 km Race, timed with overall Men’s and Women’s divisions and youth category
- 1.25 km Dog Walk, dog-friendly on-leash route
Participants in the 1.25 km and 5 km runs receive a gift bag token, a pair of custom Ramblers Run socks, and a glass of Palatine Hills wine with non-alcoholic options for those under 19. The 5 km awards include gift baskets from the winery and local vendors, medals for second and third places, and a trophy engraving for overall winners; a first place youth prize is awarded for the under-10 category.
The course uses grass and dirt paths and includes some uneven sections; jogging strollers are recommended. Parking is free on the grassy area in front of the winery. A water refill station is available for participants and dog water stations are provided. Ten percent of event proceeds will be donated to Community Care. The event is rain or shine.
