The Orchards Traverse Trail Run 2026
The Orchards Traverse Trail Run takes place on 3 October 2026 at Bo Radyn Boerdery, located about 3 km outside Villiersdorp in the Western Cape, South Africa. The route runs through orchards, rolling valleys, farm roads and offers mountain views within a farming region of the Overberg.
Three distance options are offered:
- 20 km, entry fee R390
- 12 km, entry fee R290
- 7 km, entry fee R190
Entry includes a professionally marked and managed trail route, water points along the course, and a complimentary bottled drink: wine for entrants aged 18 years and older, and grape juice for participants under 18. The event advertises a total cash prize pool of R7,000 with first-place cash prizes listed for male and female winners in each distance. Every entrant is eligible for a lucky draw with prizes valued at approximately R10,000.
Additional notes state entries are non-refundable and that participants agree to the event indemnity and terms and conditions. Attendees are asked to help preserve the venue by not littering.
