About the race
The Orchards Traverse Trail Run takes place at Bo Radyn Boerdery near Villiersdorp in the Western Cape. The event offers trail routes through orchards, valleys, farm roads and mountain views in a farming region of the Overberg.
Three distances are available:
- 20 km
- 12 km
- 7 km
Entry fees are listed per distance: R390 for the 20 km, R290 for the 12 km and R190 for the 7 km. Entries include a professionally marked and managed trail route, water points along the course, and a complimentary beverage: a bottle of wine for entrants aged 18 and older and a bottle of grape juice for under-18 participants.
A total cash prize pool of R7,000 is allocated across the top finishers in each distance. Every entrant is also eligible for a lucky draw with prizes valued at about R10,000. Entries are non-refundable and participants accept the event indemnity and terms and conditions. Organisers request that competitors help preserve the venue by not littering.
