Greyton Brew Run 2026
The Greyton Brew Run takes place on 15 August 2026 at Greyton Town Square in Greyton, Western Cape (38 Main Road). The event offers multiple trail distances that start and finish at the town square and supports the Greyton House Bursary Fund; all entry fees go to the fund.
Distances
- 21 km Trail half marathon through mountain terrain and varied surfaces.
- 13 km Trail run winding through local landscapes and scenic trails.
- 6 km Fun run/walk showcasing fynbos and mountain scenery; dog friendly.
- 6 km Kids u/12 Short route category for children under 12.
Entries include a complimentary coffee before the trails, on-course water points stocked with iced tea, energy drinks, Coke, water, and treats including date squares, plus a free pint of craft beer at the finish with a race number.
Parking is provided at the Old Moravian Hall next to the yellow library; parking attendants monitor vehicles during the event. Registration is available on the afternoon before race day and on the morning of the event.
Compulsory kit for the 13 km and 21 km routes includes a cell phone, hydration pack or waist pack, windbreaker, space blanket, whistle, and a basic first aid kit. A hat, sun lotion, and a fleece are strongly recommended.
