The OPP Halloween 3K - Redhill

The event is the first edition of a Halloween-themed obstacle run held on a newly designed 3 km obstacle course at OPP. The format is intended to be fairly relaxed while including technical obstacles and some mandatory elements. The course is completed as two laps of 1.5 km.

Participants start in waves of ten athletes at 30 minute intervals. Organizers plan up to three waves if participant numbers allow. Entrants may select a preferred wave but organizers may consolidate waves if there are not enough people.

For failed obstacles the penalty is ten burpees performed on site rather than the use of bands. If there are not enough volunteers to station every obstacle, penalties may be recorded as honesty burpees; the Race Director or Head TO will monitor counts and address significant discrepancies.

The event includes some unspecified surprises on course. Running in Halloween costume is permitted. A headtorch is mandatory for participation and this requirement will be strictly enforced. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
