Maverick North Downs Trail 2027
The Maverick North Downs Trail takes place on Saturday 19 June 2027 at Cranleigh Showground in Surrey. Routes run through Winterfold and Hurtwood Forest, across Pitch Hill and along sections of the North Downs Way and Leith Hill, using undulating forest trails with a number of punchy climbs.
Five route options are available, with fully marked courses and Precision Fuel and Hydration outposts on the longer routes. The event includes free parking, a bag drop, event photography, full timing with online results, a metal finishers medal and an event village offering food and drink plus a non alcoholic beer.
Outpost provision and cut off points apply to the Marathon and 50k Ultra; there is no flexibility on cut offs and participants who miss a cut off may be returned to the finish venue. Outposts are designed as top ups and will offer a range of sweet and savoury snacks, gels and electrolyte drinks. The Short and Middle routes have no outposts; the Half Marathon has one outpost with a toilet.
The organisers aim to keep outposts cup free so participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle. Dogs are not permitted due to likely hot weather. Mandatory kit is required for the 50k Ultra and Marathon and includes items such as a waterproof jacket, mobile phone, at least one litre of water, 800 calories, a foil blanket, whistle and a GPX of the route on watch or phone.
