The Huckleberry Hundred
The Huckleberry Hundred is an ultramarathon event at Mt. Spokane State Park in Spokane, WA, held July 24 and 25, 2027. The race is built on a scenic 25 mile mountain loop that combines technical singletrack, sweeping descents through shaded inland rainforests, and panoramic views of the Selkirk Mountains. Runners at each distance complete the same loop unit the appropriate number of times.
- 100 mile: 4 loops of the 25 mile course; 19,000 ft total elevation gain and loss.
- 50 mile: 2 loops of the 25 mile course; 9,500 ft total elevation gain and loss.
- 25 mile: 1 loop of the 25 mile course; 4,750 ft total elevation gain and loss.
Aid stations are placed three times per loop with Race HQ available at the end of each lap. Stations are stocked with water, Coke, Hummingbird Fuel, and sweet and salty snacks. Fresh huckleberries are featured at aid stations when they are in season.
Race headquarters is located at the main staging area in Mt. Spokane State Park. Every 100 mile finisher receives a custom gunmetal belt buckle. All finishers are part of a finish line celebration with local refreshments, and fresh huckleberries are available along the course during the season.
