The Great Cow Run (Higashi Roman Memorial Run) - Norwalk, CA
The Great Cow Run takes place on September 5, 2026 at John Glenn High School in Norwalk, California. The event is organized by alumni of Cerritos High School to support the school and the local community and to commemorate local history tied to Cerritos as Dairy Valley and those remembered by the Higashi Roman Memorial Run.
The program includes multiple event types and races, listed below:
- 3 Mile Fun Run, Walk & Jog (in-person)
- 3 Mile Fun Run, Walk & Jog (virtual)
- The Spotted Calf (Child/Youth Sprint)
- High School Invitational
Entry fees start at $35 for the in-person 3 mile event and $40 for the virtual option. Organizers provide a course map and check-in information on site; these materials are also emailed to registrants. There is no bag check on site. Parking in the high school lot is a paid zone and cash is requested for parking; vehicles parked outside legally marked spaces may be towed.
