The Billing
The Billing is a winter trail race starting at Rawdon Cricket Club, 73 Larkfield Rd, Rawdon, Leeds LS19 6DZ. The route heads straight up the Billing, continues through the top of Yeadon, includes a lap beside Leeds Bradford Airport perimeter fence, and returns via a second ascent of The Billing. The course is fully marked and runs on fields, trail and public footpaths. Trail shoes are recommended.
Race details include an approximate distance of 14 km and approximate elevation gain of 277 m. There is no water station so participants should carry their own water. Entry is limited to 100 runners and the event has an age limit of 18 and over. The race offers facilities at the Race HQ including toilets, bag storage and car parks. Optional extras such as medals and t shirts are available to add to entries while stocks last, and a Trees not Tees donation option is offered to fund tree planting. Mandatory kit requirements include a windproof or waterproof jacket and spare shoes or clothing to change into at Race HQ.
