The Billing

The Billing is a winter trail race based at Rawdon Cricket Club, 73 Larkfield Rd, Rawdon, Leeds LS19 6DZ. The route runs initially up The Billing, continues through the top of Yeadon, includes a lap beside the Leeds Bradford Airport perimeter fence, and returns via a second ascent of The Billing. The course is fully marked.

The distance is approximately 14 km with about 277 m of elevation gain. Terrain includes fields, trail and public footpaths. Participants are asked to wear trail shoes and to carry suitable clothing for winter conditions.

There is no water station on course; competitors should bring their own fluids. Entry is limited to 100 runners and the event has an age minimum of 18 years. Optional extras such as medals or t-shirts can be added to entries in advance, and a "Trees not Tees" donation option is available for tree planting; extras are limited close to the event and may not be available on the day.

Facilities at Race HQ include toilets, bag storage and car parking. Mandatory kit requirements include a windproof or waterproof jacket and spare shoes or clothing for use at the HQ. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
