About the race

The Big Easter Run is the 11th annual holiday themed fun run held at Jericho Beach Park in Vancouver. The event is listed as sold out for the advertised date.

The course starts near the waterfront and follows trails and beach-side paths through areas with spring blooms, offering views of the North Shore and the Vancouver skyline. The surface includes gravel and trail pathways with mild inclines. Runners and walkers must complete their route within set time limits: 2 hours for longer routes and 40 minutes for the 1-3 km loop option. Leashed dogs and strollers are allowed; both should start in the final wave and strollers should have wheels suitable for unpaved trails.

Distances offered:

  • 1–3 km (1 km loops)
  • 5 km
  • 10 km

Registration benefits listed for entrants include a personalised running bib with a custom "Bunny Name", a chocolate finishers medal, a bunny ears costume item, a measured route, a water station, entertainment, and entry to the Gnubees Egg Hunt for children in the 1–3 km run. Prizing includes local business vouchers and event entries for categories such as Best Costume and Best Selfie. The event partners include KidSport BC as the charity partner.

Packet pickup is available on Thursday April 2 at Kintec Broadway, 1201 W Broadway, Vancouver. The event site is accessible by local transit, bike share stations near Jericho, and metered or EasyPark lot parking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
