The 5K Foam Fest - Okanagan, BC
The event is a 5K obstacle course based fun run held in the Okanagan region with a Vernon BC location to be announced for 2027. The course includes over 25 obstacles and extensive foam sections totaling 2.5 million cubic feet, plus features such as an inflatable waterslide and mud pits. All obstacles are optional and participants may proceed at their own pace.
A festival area runs alongside the course with music, food vendors, local vendor booths and a beer garden. A free kids zone is available for children aged 6 and under; adults must supervise. Spectators have free access to the festival area, vendors and beer garden.
Age and safety rules are explained in the event information. The 5K is open to participants aged 7 and up. Children aged 7 to 12 must run with a registered adult. Participants aged 13 to 17 do not require an adult chaperone but must follow course rules. Legal guardians must sign waivers for any participant under 18. The organizer notes that the course carries risks typical of physical activity.
Registration includes run entry, festival wristband, string bag, buff, finisher medal, Foam Fest tattoo, water stations, shower station, change room access, festival area, free kids zone and a free finish line photo. No refunds on entries; transfer options are available. A discounted rate applies to the first 250 registrants, with a stated saving of CA$90.
