The 5K Foam Fest - Okanagan, BC
The 5K Foam Fest is a 5 kilometre obstacle course based fun run scheduled for June 12, 2027 in the Okanagan region of British Columbia. The course features more than 25 obstacles, including an inflatable waterslide, mud pits and an estimated 2.5 million cubic feet of foam. Obstacles are optional and participants may complete the course at their own pace.
The event includes music throughout the day, food and local vendors, a beer garden and a festival area that spectators can access for free. A free Kids Zone is available for children 6 and under with a mini inflatable obstacle course and a bounce house; adult supervision is required for children using the Kids Zone. Children aged 7 to 12 must run with a registered adult. Participants aged 13 to 17 do not require a chaperone but must follow all course rules. Event waivers for participants under 18 must be signed by a legal guardian.
Ticket inclusions listed for a standard entry include a festival wristband, string bag, buff, finisher medal, Foam Fest tattoo, water stations, shower station, change room access, access to the festival area and a free finish line photo. Course photos are available for purchase. No refunds on entries or payments are offered, though transfer options are available. Group and corporate rates are offered for groups of 10 or more. The event notes that obstacle course activities carry risks of injury or death and recommends careful review of the waiver. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
