Thames Path Ultra Challenge
The Thames Path Ultra Challenge is a multi-distance trail event held along the Thames Towpath between Putney Bridge and Henley. The full route passes through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede and Windsor and the event attracts over 3,000 participants at the Putney Bridge start. The weekend also includes a separate Thames Bridges Trek and The Twilight 10 Walk through Central London.

The event provides regular support and logistics. Rest stops are placed approximately every 12.5 km with major stops about every 25 km; marquee cover, catering, seating, changing rooms, medical and welfare tents are available at these locations. Free food and drink are supplied at snack stops and meals are served at the larger stops, with dietary requirements catered for and lighter options for runners.
Route wayfinding uses hundreds of pink arrows and glow-sticks at night, with a signed route, GPS tracking and a mobile app offering maps, training guides and timing updates logged by a central Control Room. Camping packages, shuttle buses to local train stations, finish-line parking and bookable transfers are offered. Medical teams, podiatrists and massage services operate at rest stops, and finishers receive a medal, T shirt, glass of fizz and a finisher meal.
