Terror Trails Ultra - October 31, 2026
Terror Trails Ultra takes place at Cane Creek Park near 5213 Harkey Road in Waxhaw, NC. The event is in its third year at this venue and offers multiple trail distances on routes that combine smooth, fast sections with technical terrain, creek crossings, rocks and roots.
Distances offered:
- 50K (two laps of the 25K loop)
- 25K (one lap, about 15.5 miles)
- 8 Miler (one lap, about 8 miles)
- 4 Miler (one introductory loop, about 4 miles)
Course details: the 4 Miler and 8 Miler each pass one aid station. The 25K follows a full tour of the park and passes two aid stations multiple times; there is an 8 hour cutoff for the 25K. The 50K consists of two laps of the 25K loop, includes passages through six aid stations plus the start/finish area, and has a 10 hour cutoff.
Entries: the organizer is offering a single entry price of $45 for any distance. Registered participants receive event entry and a cookout lunch. Shirt orders are available separately.
Aid stations will be stocked with water, sports drink and snacks. Organizers strongly suggest a hydration vest for runners expected to be on course 90 minutes or longer. Packet pickup is on-site on race morning.
