Team Foster's Last Person Standing - Conshohocken, PA
Team Foster's 2nd Annual Last Person Standing is a backyard ultra held in Conshohocken, PA. Runners complete a roughly 4.1-mile loop every hour; finish the loop before the next hour begins to continue, and miss the next lineup by any amount of time to be eliminated. The event follows a strict unsupported format on course: no outside support is permitted on the trail and any aid must remain at the start area, called The Village. Each participant is assigned a 10' x 10' space in The Village for personal aid and gear. Organizers provide a central aid tent with water and basic first aid for emergencies.
The event is self supported in terms of nutrition, hydration, gear, and recovery. The trail area is described as extremely flat. Registrations are final with no refunds or transfers, and the first 100 registered receive an assigned camp space; further registrants are placed on a waiting list. There is a minimum fundraising request of $150 and priority village placement for participants who raise $1,000 by the stated deadline. Pets, campers, RVs, and generators are not allowed at the venue. Spectators are permitted at the venue but not on the trail. All proceeds benefit Team Foster, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the mission: Veterans. Service Dogs. Community. Last year’s winner completed more than 125 miles.
